Research Area: Quantitative Biology

Quantitative biology (QBio) is the interface of computational, biological, and physical sciences that integrates complex datasets into quantitative and predictive models of biological systems. Students interested in pursuing QBio research as the whole or a part of their graduate studies will be able to draw upon the expertise of top-rated programs in the biological and physical sciences across campus, tailored to their backgrounds and interests. The University is also formalizing a QBio PhD minor program which will be available to incoming students in Fall 2017.
