Photo of Maria KatsoulidisThe Integrated Program in Biochemistry (IPiB) welcomed Maria S. Katsoulidis as its new student services coordinator in late 2018. She brings more than 15 years of experience in higher education administration and recruiting to the program.

Katsoulidis will be housed in the Department of Biomolecular Chemistry (BMC), which jointly administers IPiB, along with the Department of Biochemistry.

“I am excited to be in a collegial and collaborative environment where I can contribute to the growth and success of IPiB and its trainees,” Katsoulidis says. “I’ve had the privilege of working in student services for the last decade and a half and can’t wait to learn more about BMC and IPiB.”

She joins the program from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where she was a residency program manager. She has also held positions at Beloit College, Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation, and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. An avid world traveler, she lived in Europe for 10 years teaching English before moving to higher education.

“My door is always open, so please stop by!” she adds.
