James Keck is Among Six UW Researchers Named AAAS Fellows

KeckJames Keck, professor in the Department of Biomolecular Chemistry, is one of six University of Wisconsin­–Madison scholars who have been elected fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the world’s largest general scientific society. Fellows are elected annually by the AAAS Council and selection reflects the highest standards of scientific integrity and professional ethics. The honor recognizes Keck’s contributions to the field of genomics, DNA replication and repair and protein chemistry, particularly in uncovering the many proteins and their role involved in DNA replication and repair.
